Waking Up The Garden

Waking Up The Garden

Spring has sprung! Time to nurture and water your relationships.

Happy pre-Spring! After a cold and festive winter, new buds are starting to sprout. March, with its Spring breaks and Spring cleaning, gives us an opportunity to start planning the steady parade of events around the corner.

It's also a time to look closely and pay attention to the subtle changes in sights and sounds before nature lets loose. Turn the same corner you do every day to discover that tulip stems have replaced the fallen branches of winter firs. Look up to see that a few birds have perched and are singing tunes.

We think our cherry blossom card is perfect for jotting down the new discoveries and joys you find, as well as writing the changes you look forward to each year. Beneath the translucent pink surface, you'll discover that the card inside has been imprinted gently for the contour of the petals, and then once again for a deeper relief on the stems - capturing the cascading layers of Spring as flowers begin to emerge at different times.

For those that like to get an early start on planning, we're also thinking about Mothers' Day and how to celebrate the women in our lives. We've yet to meet a mother who didn't adore an old-fashioned letter from her children, but we imagine an accompanying Spring picnic with a glass of champagne never hurts either!
