Our two-ply Mothers' card was originally sketched with vintage postcards and lilies-of-the- valley in mind. Tracing paper with handwritten phrases is layered on top of cotton paper underneath, on which flowers and leaves have been individually applied and metallic ink creates additional contours. 

The inside is blank so that you can celebrate your mother figures in your own way. A simple but refined card that simultaneously conjures memories of handwritten notes from your mother and mother-figures, as well as your own childhood sketches.

Uniquely Made

We used cotton paper for the inside of this card to provide a soft touch and natural texture. The green stems and gold pollen that were applied with hot foil against the cotton offer a sprinkle of shimmer when seen in the daylight. Although simple in contour, the mix of metallic ink, cotton and translucent materials come together in a beautiful and unique way - just like our mothers.

Timeless Beauty

We love the translucent tracing paper used in this card, and the way it ages. Smooth to touch, the tracing paper lightly absorbs humidity and naturally crinkles over time with age - giving our Mothers' card a well-loved, comfortable feeling as time passes.
