- Multiple Pages Inside: 3-ply booklet card with multiple pages inside to write your own messages or letter.
- Cotton & Silk Papers: This card is made with soft sky blue cotton paper on the outside, a husk-colored silk cotton paper on the inside, and a third, semi-transparent paper layer in between. The three papers are delicately bound together with blue thread.
Kindred Spirit cards have been crafted using three layers of delicate paper to recreate the feeling of a small booklet. The outside layer of this 3-ply card is made of soft cotton accented with pearl hot foil, followed by a translucent paper layer with a thoughtful message from us to savor the small and big moments. The third, husk-colored inner layer has been left blank to give you as much or as little space as you desire to write about your favorite moments. Using a combination of colorful dyes, soft paper and luminescent ink, this card is a treat for anyone who enjoys leafing through the pages.
The presence of multiple layers makes this letter card perfect for a fulsome note, or exchanging shorter letters within the same card. It can also be used to capture the heartfelt words of several friends and family, as each page offers the space for individual thoughts and wishes.

Delicate Shimmers
Inspired by nature, our Light Kindred Spirits card reminds us of the special times before and after the full moon when we can see the moon against the daytime sky. Light blue, bright orange and red inks were applied to soft white cotton paper to achieve the vivid colors we observe during changing seasons. While the paper feels feathery upon touch, we chose thin paper that was just barely thick enough to handle the pressure of a metallic hot plate that gives this card its pearly shimmer. This detail reminds us of the magic we can see in the skies.
Fonts Inspired By Handwriting
We think fonts are a great source of beauty and intentionally chose Latin and non-Latin fonts that remind us of handwritten correspondence.
For messages in Latin languages (English, French), we chose EB Garamond since it is a ubiquitous, classic-style font that often conjures handwriting influences. For non-Latin languages such as Mandarin, we chose Kaiti, a calligraphic typeface made up of curves and resembling handwritten form used in traditional correspondence.
The pairing of two different font systems achieve the same purpose - to inspire us to put our own pen to paper.
