Fall Harvests & Winter Plantings

Fall Harvests & Winter Plantings

"A leaf is a letter from the tree" - Joan Walsh Anglund

Happy Fall! These past two months we've been busy celebrating harvest season and getting ready to plant the seeds of tomorrow. The crisp autumn months are the time to curl up with warm teas, while also choosing the flower bulbs for gardens that will delight us with their emerging blooms in late winter and early spring.

For us, this means enjoying slow-simmered vegetable broth while we've been quietly working on our next collection - a series inspired by fruits. We've long enjoyed how certain fruits can be given as a special gift, or communicate well wishes and blessings to others. We also appreciate how fruits have cultivated a special place in people's hearts and imaginations, inspiring cultural exchange and global adventure, while also reminding them of a piece of home.

We're excited to share our own fruit adventures with you soon. In the meantime, we'd love to know what fruits you'd most like to see and give. Send us a hello to share a fond fruit memory.

We're also starting to get ready for the holiday season and making note of those we'd like to send letters of gratitude to. We'll be participating in a few festive events such as the Fall Designing Women Market this weekend at the New York Historical Museum. Located at Central Park West across the street from natural woodlands in the Ramble, it's an ideal time to enjoy a Fall afternoon stroll and find special gifts to celebrate this past year.
